He currently resides in Arlington County, Virginia. Mr. Watson joined Surovell, Jackson, Colten & Dugan, P.C., in 1984 ; became a Principal in 1990; and served as the firm's President. In June 2002, Mr. Watson co-founded Colten Cummins Watson & Vincent P.C. Mr. Watson received his B.A. from Colgate University in 1972 and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver in 1978. He received his law degree from the George Mason University School of Law in 1984. Mr. Watson was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1984 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1985. He is licensed to practice before all Courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Watson is a Member of the Fairfax County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, and the Virginia Trial Lawyer's Association. He has served as the chair of the 19th Judicial Circuit Committee on the Resolution of Fee Disputes since 1995. Mr. Watson practices primarily in the area of Family Law, Commercial Litigation and general Civil Litigation.
